Viva La Asians
I have found some new inspiration for a story. I want to write a screenplay of the plight of the Asian man in America. Who better than a sttruggling Asian man. I want it to be a story of an Asian man in search of love and also his struggles against the misconception that he faces. My first problem is do I want to make this more of a parody or do i want to do this straight up?

I also need to look into additional threads to delve into for this project.

At the same time it might be fun to make it into a sitcom. The last movie I saw dealing with Asian families was All American Girl with Margaret Cho. Even that was funny because it was so base and it is funny how when entertainment doesn't discern between the difference in the Asian culture. Japanese, Chinese, Korean, it doesn't matter.

I especially love it if they get a caucasion with dark hair to play an asian character.

And what do young asian males have to look at when they look at entertainment. The last time I saw an you asian guy on screen it was as they phrased it in the trailers, that Asian Guy from American Pie. The actor who played Harold, in Harold and Kumar goes to White Castle.

To be honest, that was the first time I saw an Asian man not doing martial arts with a major role in the movies.

Isn't that just sad.

I'd like to see the next movement or trend in entertainment to be Asian power. I always watch shows with Black or Gay people who comment about things they see of their own culture and you know what, I know exactly how they feel. They have seen break-throughs.

I think it's time to see it happen for Asians.

Viva La Asians!
