With my stepmother about to undergo a new chemo treatment, she and my father sound like they have a lot of emotional ups and downs to deal with.

My father is having a hard time focusing on his struggling business while also having to worry about my stepmom.

I wish I could help both of them. I can't imagine how hard it must be for him as well.

It touched me that he felt he could confide and actually talk to me. It was nice to talk to him and not have it be about me.

It was just nice to talk I guess. It's a shame that tough circumstances sometimes are needed for people to actually talk.

I love my father though, even when I don't agree with him.
