There is one thing this experience has done for me, watching shows now has a lot different of an affect. I see more things in movies and see what seems more authentic or at least being told correctly.

Of course Hollywood is still Hollywood but war movies or in this case TV series really have more resonance with me.

I remember watching this show as a kid and not really seeing all that I am seeing now.

This show really was ahead of its time.
